When requesting the master class you must send a recording to the Festival organization. In this process, we seek to guarantee the quality and commitment of our participants to ensure an enriching educational experience. For this reason, we have established a rigorous criterion: only students whose recordings pass the approval of our organization will have access to the master class.

What/how many pieces are required for the master class selection?

The repertoire is free choice. However, submitted recordings must demonstrate a high level of skill and must be unedited live video. The quality of the recording device used is not a decisive factor.

 

We recommend that you send us 2 pieces of a similar or higher level than the following:

• A virtuoso piece, for example, a Capricho by Alfredo Piatti or a study of Op.73 by David Popper.

• The first movement of a concerto or sonata from the standard repertoire (piano accompaniment is not necessary).

• Prelude to one of Bach's Suites for solo cello.

 

About uploading videos:

Videos can be uploaded to YouTube for free and set to " hidden " (do not set to "private" because otherwise only you will be able to see them). By setting them to " hidden ", the videos are not visible publicly, but only through the links we receive from you. Of course, you can also send links to public videos.
